About this artwork
This painting is a landscape with people at the edge of a pond in a forest. The image has been broken by a ripple like frame that breaks the image up into a repeating rectangle frame. In the middle is a 22 k gold leaf rectangle. The repeating frame coming from the gold rectangle is suggestive of a rock or pebble being throwing into a pond and the ring like ripples emerge from the place the rock landed in the water.
