About this artwork
It's a lengthy process. I photographed things lying around the studio that cast shadows on paintings, walls, or other objects. These photos were then printed, in this case on photographic paper. Then I searched for meaning in these random photos—what might be there, what might be happening? This happens with pens; new connections and stories emerge from all the "stuff" that surrounds us.
