I created Solitude to explore the quiet, fragile beauty of introspection and the resilient nature of the human spirit when left to its own devices. In this piece, I focus on the concept of findng peace within oneself. The girl’s seated posture and downcast gaze suggest a deep, contemplative stillness rather than loneliness. The bright green patterned shirt provides a rhythmic pulse to the composition, connecting the subject back to the vibrancy of life. Solitude is an affirmation of the strength required to be alone with one's thoughts.
