About this artwork
Rifugio was born in the middle of the second wave of covid during the lockdown, it wants to be a message of hope and optimism towards the future. In this moment, more than ever, the care of the other becomes essential and decisive also our well-being.
A sea of shaded colors almost as if these two bodies floated in a sky at dawn rich in shades, but it is scratched and full of cuts on a rough and rough background to remind us of the moment we are… living.
A peculiarity of this work is that I painted it using the surgical masks used.
