About this artwork
SINGULART celebrates its anniversary on the theme of creative joy.
It is the energy of creation, the one that pushes you to reach for your pencils, brushes or other tools.
It is also the feeling that art lovers get when they discover a work, it is an intense joy that they feel when they finally see this creation in their collection.
If we look at the current palette of Emmanuelle Vroelant sadly marked by the health crisis we are going through,… the challenge was not small. She brought out her colors from a past time and as in an art therapy session she felt joyful and dynamic.
Emmanuelle Vroelant found it necessary to work in movement with a little chaos because it is in this register that creativity is released and that the joy of appreciating the beauties of this world is released.

« What is abstract for you is real for me. - Zao Wou Ki »
Emmanuelle Vroelant is an award-winning painter and sculptor based in France whose works have been exhibited nationally, as well as in Japan and the Ivory Coast. The central themes in her art are linked to light and the joy that it brings. Describing her current artworks as "suggestive abstraction", Vroelant's diverse compositions take a metaphysical approach. Her painterly compositions are created using watercolors, acrylics, oils, India ink on linen or canvas, and her sculptures are realized in bronze.
