About this artwork
Remask Project is an artistic reinterpretation of the surgical mask, transformed into a precious symbol of memory and reflection. Born during the first lockdown, Enrico Girotti's project explores the symbolic and cultural value of an everyday object, elevating it through an electroforming process, which solidifies its structure, and a 24K gold plating, giving it an alchemical and solar value.
Each piece of the Remask 2024 series, composed of 20… unique works, preserves the original shape of the mask, transformed into a sculpture through meticulous craftsmanship. The result is an object that invites reflection on the persistence of memory and the value attributed to objects over time.
This is piece number 15 in the series, accompanied by a certificate of uniqueness.

« We produce original products through a process that is constantly improving. We construct and connect every component of the design, and we investigate, assess, and interpret the concepts. »
Enrico Girotti is an industrial designer who identifies himself with the figure of the maker, expression of an authentic synthesis between ideation and production. Graduated in Industrial Design in Venice, his work stands out for the integration between personal research and technical training, giving life to a fluid dialogue between function and form.
