About this artwork
This summer sphinx Ezendam did with mixed media: he started with pen, brush and ink and then added more colours with watercolour, finishing this work as a digital lithograph that was printed in the beautiful Giclée technique on High Quality Art paper on a large size: 81 x 106 cm. The edition is very limited: 7 prints, signed and dated.

Eric Ezendam is a multi-disciplinary Dutch artist based in France, who has exhibited his work in the US, Netherlands, France and Belgium. Composing digital drawings and large charcoal works on paper, he combines classic techniques with contemporary conceptions to propose an intriguing style of portraiture. His representations of writers and everyday people feature a range of interesting postures, colour combinations and perspectives that play on the old and new, the weathered and the beautiful.
