About this artwork
I created this piece from imagination. Just playing with the clay without any preconceived idea. The form of the body emerging on its own, made me think of one of these arrogant ladies. I added the head to complete the idea. I then cast it in bronze. I used titanium dioxide and ferric nitrate for its patina.

Eric Saint Georges is an experienced French artist based in the United States whose work has received national exposure. After taking a workshop with the sculptor Petrus in 1978, he was inspired to develop his own artistic practice and pursued studies in sculpture at the Beaux Arts in Paris. Focusing on figurative sculpture and drawing, he is influenced by his own martial arts practice and the energy of the human form.
