About this artwork
This creation refers to the famous biblical story of Esther. Denouncing a plot whose aim is to kill subjects of the Persian king Ahasuerus, Esther asks him “to save her life and her people”. She takes advantage of this opportunity to assert her ethnicity to the king, who, intrigued, asks her to name the culprit of the plot. Symbolically Esther's nets then close on the traitor, Prime Minister Haman. The character of Esther is found, over the centuries,…
in religious writings, painting, literature, music, theater and even comics. In this work, I used acrylics, oils, and collage to express myself. Like an expressionist dream, the fiery colors and rich textures evoke internal landscapes, fiery emotions. It will warm your space, inviting passionate dialogue and deep introspection. A contemporary creation rich in meaning and light like truth.
