About this artwork
In this work, the light of the sail seems to dance on the sea. I chose freedom and audacity for this creation around the bandit, Bono's emblematic boat in southern Brittany. This working sailboat was widely used at the end of the 19th century and has disappeared. The only boat still visible is Notre-Dame de Bequerel which owes its rebirth to an association of enthusiasts. The contrast of the orange sails with a bluish environment intensifies the… dynamics of this imaginary regatta. A very bright, bold painting with great presence. The sail, billowed by a wind of passion, is a metaphor for graceful navigation through life's challenges. It is a celebration of perseverance, a dynamic source of energy for your interior.
« The colors are the living notes, of the harmonious and generous melody that the artist offers to our eyes and to our souls. »
A professional artist since 1995, Eric Winzenried lives in western France. Passionate about real and imaginary landscapes, he has made them the heart of his creativity. His exploration of color and synthesis naturally led him to contemporary landscapes, while remaining highly demanding regarding the quality of his works. These resolutely abstract series, where contemplation and aesthetics occupy a central place. For him, landscape is much more than a subject: it is a space of freedom where color becomes a language. Convinced of the influence of color on the body and mind, he creates creations imbued with harmony, offering a unique visual and emotional experience.
