During this pandemic winter, I found myself drawn to bright pops of reds, bursts of energy and emotion, movement, the trail of wind a bird fluttering away, an exploration of one color bumping into another and co-existing or blending, texture, drips, spots. These are paintings… about freedom and expression, and nothing else, pure emotion coming out of a difficult year emerging into the possibilities of a new season.
