About this artwork

The ladies of the night rule old Times Square! Free from their pimps, these ladies, and there are many, own the stroll! Nothing happens without their knowledge. To get an “in your face” attitude for this word I used a thick and brightly colored simple 3D style because I knew (hoped) that… the “upskirt” poses of the girls would comingle well with the letters. As an artist, you never get a painting to the vision in mind; so many elements change the reality. But when you get close, wow, that is one amazing feeling!
