Black Butte Ranch in Sisters’ Oregon, prides itself on having one of the best views of the Three Sisters’ mountains, without hiking the back country. At the ranch, horses frolic wildly, returning to their free nature all summer long in the long grass pastures. Eryn Tehan is a young, established artist from Portland, Oregon. Her work has been exhibited at Ford Gallery, Alberta Street Gallery, CHP Galleries, and Red E. Gallery and she has completed projects with Travel Portland, The Oregon Society of Artists, Lakewood Center of the Arts, 510 Museum, The Chelsea Hicks Foundation and the International Coalition for Human Rights in the Philippines. Using only palette knives, Eryn creates her chunky, layered paintings, spotlighting the hidden colors within her floral subjects.
