The Austrian-Turkish painter Esin Turan was born in 1970 in Konya, Turkey. From 1988-1992 she completed her art studies at the Hacettepe Art Academy in Ankara, and from 1992-1997 at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna. Today, Esin Turan lives and works in Vienna, where she works as a freelance artist.
