About this artwork
Original oil painting by Eugene Ivanov. Oil on round stretched canvas, ready to hang.
In this oil painting, I dive into surrealism to explore the harmony between nature and machine, blending the fantastical with the familiar. The whimsical fish vessel carries a silent passenger through a dreamlike cityscape, evoking wonder and curiosity. This piece brings an enchanting energy, inspiring imagination and a sense of adventure to any space it inhabits.

« From reality toward a higher reality. »

In his art, the artist unites elements of the landscape realism, motifs of yards and back streets of the Prague´s Old Town, or the classical still-life with modern styles of the beginning of the 20th century – cubism, suprematism and expressionism.
