In this acrylic work embracing pop art, I depicted an octopus driving a tuktuk. The teenager in the back doesn't seem perturbed by the driver's dynamic driving style or intrigued by the fact that it's an octopus. And for good reason: he's absorbed in his phone screen.
In this painting, I again emphasize the fact that we no longer know how to observe the beauty that surrounds us and that the only contact we have... is that of the "virtual".
Eunice Green is a completely self-taught artist. A secretive and solitary child, she gave drawing an important place in her youth: "escaping through the mine". From scribbled school notebooks to sketchbooks, Eunice exploits the smallest piece of free paper to sketch anything and everything, but in the smallest details. After studying nursing and a less than fulfilling professional career, Eunice chose to make painting her vocation. Her free and instinctive creation revolves around recurring subjects: animals, nature, and femininity. Her paintings with bright and passionate hues reveal the fragility and strength of women, the liveliness of animals, the beauty of nature. Through her art, she gives a silent but powerful voice to what is no longer listened to or heard. "Painting is speaking without saying a word"
