About this artwork
‘Pointe’ is a French word meaning one of the classical ballet techniques that concerns pointe work, in which a ballet dancer supports all body weight on the tips of fully extended feet within pointe shoes. Mr. Eunman Huh says he hoped to express the lyric of a ballerina in her climax in an abstract way.

« Just like painters dash and drip colors with their brushes and knives, I use my camera as a tool for expressing my inner thoughts and emotion. »
Eunman Huh is an award-winning South Korean photographer whose works have been exhibited nationally, as well as in China, Italy, the United States, and the United Kingdom. He selects colors and shapes, then mixes them using sophisticated hand gestures and camera work, creating abstract fine art photographic compositions. Huh often shakes his camera for gestural effects and never uses digital programs to manipulate his compositions.
