About this artwork
I created this work in memory of Frida Kahlo.
The tragic love affair with her husband Diego seduced me into this portrayal.
Painting on paper. I also used photos and fabrics and integrated them into the painting.
A matt varnish protects the work from the effects of light.
The sturdy paper can be stretched onto a sheet of plywood or canvas (not included in the offer!)
When the work is sold, it is discreetly signed on the front and you will… receive a signed certificate of authenticity.

Eva Dahn Rubin is an artist living in Germany and Italy, whose paintings have been shown in numerous solo and group exhibitions.
She describes her artistic work as an "emotional and exciting process" that constantly allows her to grow beyond her own concepts.
Through the joyful intensity of their creation, her works become powerful objects. Influenced by music and dance, many of her compositions are characterized by the rhythm and movement of lines, forms, and colors. They inspire viewers to see the hidden and discover the new.
Her multifaceted and vibrant works are created using acrylic, tempera, collage and ink on canvas, paper or found materials.
