A LONG STORY
...this large-format work has. It's definitely the tenth repainting. It fascinated me... This process of painting over is extremely exciting and incomparable to anything else I know in life. Build on the lowest level, discard everything or use existing structures? Will the courageous destruction bring the longed-for inspiration or will I get lost in pointless hard work?
Now it's successful, it has the power I wanted to give it.
The… LIFE SIGNS were created in days of voluntary seclusion. The diverse and finely structured underground enters into a lively dialogue with the powerfully ornamental figures, which are also reminiscent of Africa or Aboriginal art.
On the back there are professionally recessed eyelets in the stretcher frame for immediate hanging.
The work can also be hung vertically.
