The blue is here declined in a fluid rhythmic style. As a result, it creates a hand-made naturalness, which, in the usual size, occurs only in nature. The depth of the color makes one think of the sea. The title leaves this open. For the painter, this ultramarine is a fashion color of the 80s. With which she connects links to her deceased mother and the first confrontation with death. This blue, like the Yves-Klein blue, is a symbol of infinity.

Eva Galonska is a German abstract expressionist painter and a MA graduate from the University of the Arts in Berlin. Motivated by the work of artists like Münter, Macke and Kandinsky, Galonska is inspired by nature, technology and philosophy among other fields of study. Her works are bright, colorful images that attempt to bridge the gap between our conscious and sub-conscious realities.
