About this artwork
The artist explores various rendering techniques, integrating a degree of abstraction or disintegration.
The subject, inspired by the Breton coast, becomes a pretext allowing it to express an atmosphere, a mood, feelings, emotions, to create a "visual poetry".
A work or the material allows to sublimate the color while preserving transparency effects.
Oil painting with a knife on linen, dominant color; blue

« Landscapes of land and water, streets in chiaroscuro, and everyday objects are pretexts for the creation of shapes and colors. »
Eva Gohier is a French artist whose works have been exhibited nationally. While her favorite themes have always been related to landscapes, the countryside, the sea, or mountains, she also enjoys exploring varying subjects such as "silent natures" and animals. Between figuration and abstraction, Gohier's objective is to translate an atmosphere, a climate, the essence of a subject, the latter being a pretext for creation.
