Duo, koi carp.
I build my work in very specific stages. First, the covering of the canvas by superimposing layers, layers of paint. Then, the gesture is released. Then, as in a choreographic sequence, the forms are made and unmade. They disintegrate in a three-dimensional space, which is built and deconstructed to reveal a whole set of lights and colored vibrations.
Guided by a freedom of expression, working intuitively and spontaneously, I am… particularly sensitive to techniques where the flow of color reveals subjects and forms.
The sides of the canvas are painted, protection by matt anti-UV varnish. This painting is delivered with certificate of authenticity, signed work on the front and on the back.

Eva Gohier is a French artist whose works have been exhibited nationally. While her favorite themes have always been related to landscapes, the countryside, the sea, or mountains, she also enjoys exploring varying subjects such as "silent natures" and animals. Between figuration and abstraction, Gohier's objective is to translate an atmosphere, a climate, the essence of a subject, the latter being a pretext for creation.
