About this artwork
In my work I have experimented with acrylics and pigments to create an abstract composition inspired by expressionism. The sweeping brushstrokes and vibrant colors evoke a feeling of vibrancy and emotional depth. It is a representation of the dynamics of life, a play of light and shadow that seeks to evoke a complex, sensual experience in the viewer.

For Hoppert, landscapes, gardens, water, and natural forms are her main source of inspiration and starting point for abstract improvisation, as well as a "spiritual refuge in search of paradise".
