About this artwork
Eva painted a pair of shoes. But only so that the eye has a shape to stop. Somehow it is also an abstract picture. It's about surfaces, colors, contrast. With the suggested landscape in the background, it reminded her of Renaissance pictures. That's where the title comes from. It is a very small-format work, but it is very powerful.
