About this artwork
Eva painted this picture for a solo exhibition in Salzburg on the subject of "bread profession painting" and called it "Sweet Bread". The background is abstract, it almost makes no sense without the motif. The eponymous motif is a so-called brioche striezel, a braided sweet yeast pastry sprinkled with hail sugar. You can almost smell the pastry when you look at the picture. The picture is a successful mix between concrete and abstract painting.
