Eva repeatedly paints armchairs and chairs as placeholders for people. In the case of this picture, the shapes thereof are built into the large dance dress. Some of their subjects mixed together. The young woman is leaning back. Tired, happy. Recharge your batteries quickly, because she wants to be fit again before the next good piece… of music.
The picture started with egg tempera and was later finished with oil paints.
