About this artwork
Once upon a daydream she danced along the amethyst shores of a distant galaxy. Under the rising moons her body gracefully swirls and leaps. While the tides go out our little ballerina heals her soul. Alien creatures watch and join in along the sands of gold in this futuristic/surrealist painting.
Painted with acrylics that wrap over the sides, on stretched canvas, and sealed with a semi-gloss protective medium. Unframed.

« Being an artist is a risky business, it means baring my soul and being vulnerable. Yet, I find myself unable to stop. Art feeds my soul. »
Eva Hunter is an award-winning artist based in the United States whose paintings have been exhibited nationally. She cites color and movement as being vital to her artistic practice. In addition, Hunter describes her works as attempting to "move beyond pain", conveying joy, fantasy, beauty, and humor. Her distinctive style fuses abstraction with impressionism and realism. She most often creates with acrylics, pastels, and ink on canvas, paper, or synthetic board.
