About this artwork
In Malta I saw this tree, which forms the basis for my most recent paintings. I observed with awe the inexhaustible power of nature, the solitude and resilience that this tree embodies. Swaying in the wind, yet firmly anchored by its roots reaching deep into the earth, the tree could even be a symbol for the human soul. Storms shape it, but cannot break it. With dynamic brushstrokes and vibrant colors, I seek to capture the transience of the moment…
and the eternity of nature.
A distinctive tree rising from a hillside forms the central motif. Its crown, painted in shades of green and yellow, contrasts sharply with the deep brown, textured root system, which almost blends into the ground. The painting is a visual expression of solitude, inner strength, and the harmony of nature.
