About this artwork
Fallen is a watercolor work that was created in grief after the passing of my father. At a time when the world lost its weight, the colors were allowed to fall freely, sink and leave traces. The dark form hovers between heaven and earth – like a memory, a loss or an inner state. A quiet but powerful work about falling, grieving and continuing to carry love.
