Evgenija Koch is a contemporary painter based in Hannover, Germany. Born in St. Petersburg, she trained in drawing and painting at the Russian Academy of Arts before studying oil painting in Germany and attending the Free Academy of Fine Arts in Hanover.
Since 2013, her work has been exhibited internationally from Zurich to Dubai, Miami to Venice and held in corporate collections including Norton Rose Fulbright, Ingenico, and Endress+Hauser.
In 2026, Koch began Somewhere Before, a new series exploring the intersection of memory and landscape. Painted in oil on canvas, enriched with mixed media, the works depict places that exist nowhere and everywhere at once capturing the feeling of having somewhere you have never visited.
