Do you remember how in the "Legend of the pianist" a pianist (played by Tim Roth) improvised for the record a simple beautiful melody, looking at the young girl in the porthole?
So on the morning of June 12th, going to the workshop past Tverskaya, where some kind of riots starts to begin, I wanted to do something simple and beautiful, without a plot, without cleverness, without a special preparations - just a quick sketch in oil on canvas, as I… usually did on paper with a marker and tempera.
