I am constantly in the role of runaway and catching up. The simultaneity of being in these conflicting states is unsettling. Physical fatigue can no longer be compared with the sometimes rolling psychological devastation. Everything is very nervous.
Meanwhile, there is hope, there is desire. In the end, there is a goal. But the reality is that what seems essential and important at first glance does not turn out to be such. On the one hand, it is… distracting, but if you look closely, it develops immunity for further choice.

« Nothing disappears anywhere. Everything is transferred into you, into your nature. You are filled with images, you become part of them, you lead them. Lead yourself and obey their movement. »
Evgeny Yakovlev, an award-winning Russian artist, has exhibited his works nationally, as well as in the Netherlands and the United States. His vibrant paintings express a fervent desire to make tangible obscure events, sensations, and thoughts. Yakovlev's artistic language blends poetry and philosophy, where what is real, or not, dissolves into abstraction. He explores various unique concepts and themes through series with oils on canvas.
