About this artwork
This piece bursts with raw energy and strength, capturing the weight of masculinity through a vintage lens. I combined reclaimed objects to symbolize the power we bear and the struggle to hold it all up. It’s bold yet naive, inviting you to reflect on endurance and identity. Imagine this energizing your space with its dynamic spirit, sparking conversation and introspection every time you see it.
this amusing assemblage was inspired first by the… faucet, then finding Tarzan the epitome of jungle manliness I knew he was hanging not by a vine but the stream of life, raining man

Raised with a sketchbook, Evy Olsen Halvorsen expresses herself through paint, both oil and encaustic. She begins with impromptu, abstract patterns and colors, gently coaxing them into subjects marked by time. Rewinding memories like worn film reels, her works vividly reincarnate people from the past, eliciting a sense of nostalgic longing.
“The contradiction so puzzling to the ordinary way of thinking comes from the fact that we have to use language to communicate our inner experience which in its very nature transcends linguistics.”
