About this artwork
In the cycle Transformation of awakenings, the initial works were created in relation to the season. For each season, I created 6 paintings in colors related to a season and my feelings about them. The painting "Surrounded" is a painting related to winter created in mixed technique arcylic plus rich structural paste and silver paint.
In this artwork, I merged the tactile nature of structural paste with the fluidity of acrylic to capture the serene… ambience of a wintry landscape. The intertwining of abstract and semi-abstract styles evokes the interplay of memory and emotion, conjuring the quietude and introspection that a snowy forest can inspire. Painting "Surrounded" is also a story of invisibility among the crowd.
The contrast of stark trees against the muted backdrop invites the viewer into a space of contemplation, adding a tranquil energy to any room.
