About this artwork
Inspired by a new flower in the botanical building of Balboa Park in San Diego, California. Talk about ever-lasting beauty in an ocean of change. This piece was created with a special style of pliage (folding art) that I developed on the computer after carefully studying the physical work of the French painter Simón Hantai. It represents a movement of water in different directions, with an untouchable static pink star in the center. Piece with several… layers of ink jet ink and acrylic paint on canvas. Artwork is acrylic paint and ink on canvas, 14 x 14."
