About this artwork
A title which in biology refers to the final stage, and whose development takes place in several phases. This is the story of this sculpture! In the beginning, there was a more or less round stone for which the artist had a definite shape in mind. While cutting it a crack appeared in its middle, thwarting his plans. she therefore removed a large portion of the part already sketched out, thus compromising the initial idea. She left it aside, observing…
it regularly. Suddenly one day, lines sprang up, the stone began to impose directions and volumes on him that escaped his will. He liked the result, but many cracks were still visible. The decision was made, it would be cast, then cast in bronze. IMAGO was born!
