I graduated from ESAD in Orléans.
In recent years, I have worked a lot on the floral world.
The reference to figuration is always readable, even when the style is intended to be more abstract.
We can convey the idea of a rose with a scribble that, in its own abundance of lines, traces the material of the perfect form of the circle, the round, the sphere. The circular scribble is a micro-universe where energy gathers. This is how I see the rose, the essence of the rose.
But...
As a visual artist, I can't limit myself to exploring a single subject. I regularly immerse myself in landscapes, portraits, and the power of abstraction.
Very recently, I discovered a passion for interior scenes in oil and cold wax on paper, the content of which I will soon reveal to you... It will be about chiaroscuro. A return to my painting roots. Shadow and light. Raw. Confronted. Sublimated.
