About this artwork
This work titled 'Right' is one of two figures facing each other. The artist painted this work while in Covid lockdown depicting jostling feelings that materialized but were not transmitted. What used to be spirits 'en rapport', we are now distant galaxies.

Fadi Elchamaa is an experienced artist based in Lebanon whose paintings have been exhibited nationally and internationally (China, Egypt, France, Dubai…) Through his bold figurative works, he explores the concepts of self-reflection, the reflection of others in himself, as well as his reflection in others. Elchamaa describes his portraits as being the union of the sensory and the emotional, which ultimately drives each composition.
