I don't have what we Americans call a green thumb, but I do have persistence. With this in mind, I proudly consider every plant that survives my care, a victory! Each day when I step outside to take my morning walk, I'm first greeted by the sight of all my colorful, botanical "survivors," waiting for me to tend to them. I give them water and attention,… they give me beauty and joy. It makes me smile. Like the lady said....It's like having a good and loyal friend. :)
