About this artwork
All alone in a quiet, peaceful setting. Inspired by the Pines and many, many lakes of the Northwoods terrain.
Texture, especially in the trees, grasses, and along the waterbank. The brilliance of the sky is countered in the foreground with small amounts of metallic gold mixed in with the dark olive/black of the grasses and water.
This piece is a 24X36" oil on canvas landscape that will arrive ready to hang as is or you may frame it, if that… is your preference. As with all of my paintings; a final coat of varnish is applied after drying, to protect and enrich the piece.
