The color and the sky...especially the blue against the orange foliage is where Faith chose to focus her attention in this painting she calls, Rush. It's a beautiful contrast of both, color and texture. Faith used her signature style of applying oils and glazes with a palette knife and dry brushing with a large brush. The edges are painted white and it arrives ready to hang.

Faith Taylor was a self-taught American talent who has participated in exhibitions throughout Los Angeles. Using a muted, earth-toned palette, she juxtaposes heavy texture, soft, blended color and the suggestion of a horizon line to mimic nature's vistas. Her resulting realist, abstract and landscape works are immersive, mysterious and rich in color and respect.
