About this artwork
Global warming will melt the ice sheet near the Arctic. At that time, not only the animals in the Arctic were in danger, but also the rest of the earth could not avoid the impact. The melting of Arctic glaciers will trigger a vicious circle: the less ice sheets on the earth's surface that can reflect heat, the faster the earth warms, which in turn leads to more ice melting at a faster rate. For quite a long time, scientists have repeatedly warned…
that climate change will lead to the warming of the earth. If no action is taken, the earth, human beings and other life on the earth will be destroyed, and the time left to save the earth is numbered.

« Works of art should be the artist's concern and reflection on society, which is the expression of personal emotion and the mind. »
Fangmin Wu is an award-winning artist based in Australia whose paintings have been exhibited nationally, as well as in South Korea and China. He describes his art as a reaction to current international events and a reflection on social issues. However, Wu's landscapes not only capture beautiful scenery, but they also translate unique stories of time with historical traces that offer a modern connection. Creating in a style that blends realism with expressionism, he favors oils and acrylics.
