About this artwork
Catshoe is the mixture of two elements. An elegant female shoe and the body of a cat that give life to a new object. This animal-like sculpture made of concrete is part of the series entitled "love objects" created starting from the passion for psychology and its theories. The objects of love in this case are real objects, in psychology they can be people or passions. The title is therefore a play on words, but also a way of "seeing" the objects…
of our love from another point of view. The things we wear as well as our shoes speak of us about who we are and what we prefer, our style and standard of living. So I wanted to put together several concepts, the first that of the objects of our love, then that of personality and finally that of plurality.

Fausto Rullo is an Italian painter, draftsman, and sculptor whose works have been exhibited nationally. His art highlights human capabilities.
