About this artwork
A large scorpion-like integrated circuit made of steel. The shape is geometrized.
Many insects are reminiscent of the microprocessors that make computers work with the black central part and the feet that look like the paws of these little living beings. This sculpture is part of the series of scorpions that Fausto Rullo transformed into small electronic processors, creating various versions including this one to hang on the wall entirely in steel.

« Thoughts that produce objects that produce thoughts. »
Fausto Rullo is an Italian painter, draftsman, and sculptor whose works have been exhibited nationally. His art highlights human capabilities. Rullo describes himself as having a strong sense of synthesis, which in some cases, can be manic. For him, painting, drawing, sculpture, and even the design of an object, have a great value, because they can enclose a great expressional force within a simple form.
