Cold Sky, the man at the mercy of his imperfect condition. Inspired by the wild engravings of Luciano Cottini, the man, a helpless creature, shakes his arm towards the sky, almost cursing an unknown divinity. There is no color and the sign is the absolute protagonist.

Federica Frati is an emerging Italian painter and printmaker who has enjoyed extensive national exposure. Constant in her work are references to the sacred, expressed alongside ideas such as modern identity and the human soul. Frati uses tempera paint to follow in the footsteps of the medieval masters she admires, and switches from engraving to painting with expertise and flexibility.
