About this artwork
The title recalls the dual nature of human experience: what appears dramatic and what, when viewed from a different perspective, becomes almost absurd or ironic. As in the theater of life, tragedy and comedy are not opposed but coexist in the same space.
The image creates a moment of anticipation, in which something could happen but remains suspended. The viewer finds himself faced with a scene that seems familiar yet enigmatic, as if it belonged… to a reality slightly shifted from our own.
As with other works in the Haeretica series, a QR code accompanies the work and activates an artificial intelligence-based chatbot. Through this device, those who encounter the work can engage with it and leave their own interpretation, which is recorded and becomes part of a living archive of meanings.
