About this artwork
The "Reality and Imagination Series" are works of art that seamlessly blend the boundaries between reality and fantasy. The realistic shadow symbolizes the tangible, real world we live in, while the surreal outlines and the multitude of points of light embody the limitless possibilities of our imagination.
These works aim to build a bridge—to create a transition that connects reality and fantasy. They invite viewers to fill the suggested forms with… their own imagination, feelings, and personal experiences.
It is a tribute to the power of imagination, which allows us to transcend the everyday and discover new dimensions.
Felix Endriss has always considered art a central part of his life. To realize his ideas according to his own vision and standards, he has acquired technical and practical knowledge in various art forms through comprehensive courses and self-study through extensive experimentation.
His background in environmental sciences, in which he is currently pursuing a doctorate, inspires his artistic exploration of nature and sustainability, while also strengthening his ability to embrace new practices and approaches. As a researcher, he has developed a keen sense of experimentation and a willingness to try out new techniques—skills that significantly enrich his creative process, giving each series of works its own individual and fitting style. This interdisciplinary approach has enabled him to present his art in several national and international exhibitions.
