For me, doors have always represented an opportunity for change. A moment in which you leave behind the safe and the known to enter a new stage that, however, continues to be part of a cycle so great that it is sometimes difficult to perceive.
When you can see this enormous journey in context is when you realize that these doors have always been connected, even when you didn't know it. And your energy is the key that makes it open in one direction… or another.

Felix Zilinskas is an artist based in Spain whose paintings have been exhibited nationally, as well as in the United States. A large part of his work is inspired by music, as he is also a musician. Zilinskas enjoys unraveling the messages in song lyrics to "squeeze them to the fullest" by investigating and developing their strangest parts. For example, one of his series was inspired by the characters in Beatles songs. His vibrant pieces are created with acrylics.
