About this artwork
The paintings in this series features a beautiful portrait of a person standing on the brink of a new journey. The veil in front of their eyes represents the veil of illusion that often keeps us trapped in old patterns and beliefs. By letting go of this veil and embracing new possibilities, we can move forward in our lives and experience a greater sense of freedom and joy.

Femke Kock is an artist from the Netherlands. Just a few years ago, she left her steady job to fully dedicate herself to her career as an artist. In this short period, she has built a remarkable portfolio and won several awards. Her rendition of the Girl with a Pearl Earring was displayed in the Mauritshuis, and her works can be found in numerous private collections worldwide, from Tokyo to Paris and everywhere in between. She has also appeared on national television multiple times with her work. Femke Kock's pieces are regularly showcased at major art fairs and galleries, and she has had several notable solo exhibitions, such as at the observation deck of the Euromast in Rotterdam.
