About this artwork
The once barren volcanic soil has begun to give way to resilient and vibrant vegetation. Intensely colored shrubs and plants adapted to extreme conditions cling to the volcanic soil. Here and there, bold blooms are seen contrasting the earthy palette of the landscape.
